PROFILES

I'm not a big believer in long convoluted profiles on a site until the story is well underway. In the meantime, here are brief profiles of each of the angels; to give you an idea of who there are and how they look.

Orbital Angel Fuku Description

IWAMOTO KUMIKO // ORBITAL EARTH
Name Meaning: “rock-origin drawing-together-child”
Age: 23
Nationality: Japanese
Appearance: 5’8”/138lbs; Kumiko is slim with a moderate hourglass shape, and some muscle tone from working outdoors. Her skin is tanned, with a smattering of freckles on her face and arms. Her hair is shoulder length brown hair with a thin fringe along forehead and two thin braids hanging down on one side of face. Her facial features are rounded, with grey eyes. She wears glasses in civilain form, but does not need them in her Orbital form.
Personality: Kumiko is a caring girl, almost motherly in the way she treats others. She is dedicated to her goals, and keeps her promises. As Orbital Earth, she is the leader of the angels; a responsibility that she takes very seriously. She is looking out for the best interests of her teammates, even if she sometimes comes across a bit harsh in the process.

NISHIGAWA SINYA // ORBITAL MERCURY
Name Meaning: “western river stranger”
Age: 17
Nationality: Japanese/Russian
Appearance: 5'3"/115lbs; Petite and pixie-like, Sinya’s body is almost prepubescent in shape, with no hips or breasts to speak of. Her skin has a ruddy cast to it, highlighting her mixed heritage. Her pale blond hair is very fine and lays very close to her head, with very little volume. Sinya wears in in a short cropped pixie cut, with a few chunky bangs in front. Her features are very pixie-like, even down to the slightly pointed ears and wide sky blue eyes.
Personality: Sinya is very exuberant and energetic. On occasions, she can be so bouncy that it is hard to keep her focused on something. However, when she is Orbital Mercury, she can quickly sober up and stay focused on the situation at hand; she retains her seemingly boundless energy though.

NGAI SEON-HWA // ORBITAL VENUS
Name Meaning: none known
Age: 19
Nationality: Korean
Appearance: 5’7”/130lbs; Seon is thin, with a slight hourglass shape; well-muscled with medium-sized breasts. Her skin is a dark ivory color. Her shiny black hair is pulled into two little folded sections, one on each side of the head, below the ears and slightly towards the back. Leather thongs tie the hair, and a few small beads hang on the ends of the ties. Seon’s features are angular and thin, with dark brown almond-shaped eyes and thin lips.
Personality: Seon is very bitter and withdrawn, having survived a childhood of being an “inferior chosen-jin” in a country that tries its best to ignore or subdue anyone who is different. This has left her very sullen, and unwilling to open up to anyone but her closest of companions. As Orbital Venus, she remains aloof from the rest of the group, not trusting them to watch her back.

Angelic Color: Goldenrod yellow
Angelic Influence: Love and positive emotions
Weapon: Venus carries a long golden staff with a lantern at one end, held in place by golden laurels. This lantern flares whenever it is in the presence of celestial energy besides the Orbitals.

ZHENREN XIN // ORBITAL MARS
Name Meaning: “heart/soul of an authentic person”
Age: 18
Nationality: Chinese
Appearance: 5’5”/127lbs; Xin is neither overweight nor skinny, with small breasts, wider hips, and almost no muscle toning. Her skin is ivory colored. Her long black hair falls to end of her backbone; there are two shorter sections at the front, only about bottom of shoulder blade length. These shorter sections of hair are gathered together with red ribbons wrapped around the middle of the sections. She has no bangs, but a small chunk of shorter hair often falls out to lay across her forehead. Her face is oval shaped, with slightly almond-shaped hazel eyes.
Personality: Xin appears to be studios and shy. While she is in fact both of these, she is a case of “still waters running deep,” capable of being incredibly passionate and opinionated - when the mood strikes her. As Orbital Mars, she is very restrained, not taking action against a foe unless she can be certain of making a debilitating strike against them, if not killing them outright. She dislikes the idea of foolishly wasting energy, and focuses on tactics instead.

FUJIBASHI TOSHI // ORBITAL JUPITER
Name: “wisteria-bridge’s reflection”
Age: 20
Nationality: Japanese/Nigerian
Appearance: 5’10”/150lbs; Toshi is voluptuous, with a classic hourglass figure. Her skin is a warm, light cocoa brown. The front half of her matte black hair is chunks of hair, styled to frame her face. The back half is pulled into multiple thin cornrows with long braids. The braids are looped into a lazy bun and the ends hang down in varying lengths from elbow length to hip length. A wide green head band with a black diamond pattern on it wraps around the head, separating the front half from the back half, and hiding the beginnings of the cornrows. Toshi has a long face with prominent cheekbones, a wide-bridged nose, and wide golden eyes. Her lips are full, with a coating of a dusty rose lip gloss.
Personality: Toshi is vain, selfish, and proud. She is also very foolish, falling quickly into unhealthy relationships and possibly dangerous situations, thinking herself in control. She has a string of shallow relationships, discarding her lover as soon as she gets bored. This impulsiveness carries over into her personality as Orbital Jupiter, where she prefers to jump right into a battle without thinking. She believes that a massive amount of unguided energy released very quickly will take care of any enemies; planning is a waste of time in her opinion.

SHINOIRO TSUKAI // ORBITAL SATURN
Name: “death-colored messenger”
Age: 13
Nationality: Japanese
Appearance: 4’11”/90lbs; Tsukai is a frail, sickly young girl. Thin to the point of ankle and wrist bones starting to poke out, it looks as if her body is consuming energy faster than she can make it. This lack of energy has left her underdeveloped for her age. Her skin is pale ivory, at times with a bluish tinge to it. She wears pale peach makeup on her cheeks and lips just to make it look like she has more color. Tsukai’s hair is white; turning to purple near the ends. It would be about chin length if down, but is usually gathered into pigtails behind the ears held with purple hair ties. Her face is round, with large violet eyes, and thin lips.
Personality: Tsukai is timid and tense most of the time. She knows how frail she is, and so she is overcautious; making her seem more mature than her young age would seem. She has a tendency to latch on to people who make her feel comfortable, and among the Orbitals, motherly Kumiko and pixie-like Sinya manage to do just that. If at all possible, Tsukai will be around one of those two. Orbital Saturn is unpredictable; most frequently hanging back and waiting for directions from someone before doing anything; on rare occasions completely ineffective. The lack of energy of Tsukai is seen in Saturn as well, she rarely has energy for more than one or two attacks.
